Jean-Baptiste Jouffray

PhD at Sustainability Science at Stockholm Resilience Centre

Amazoncom Snap Circuits Motion Electronics Discovery Kit Toys Jean-Baptiste Jouffray is interested in the interlinked social, economic and ecological challenges that shape the new global ocean context and its resilience. Much of his work consists in a curiosity-driven endeavour aimed at describing and analysing what the Anthropocene means for the ocean, what it entails for how we study marine social-ecological systems and, essentially, what can be done to improve sustainability. His research involves inter- and transdisciplinary approaches, ranging from the Hawaiian archipelago and indicators for effective coral reef management to the global seafood industry, the role of transnational corporations, the industrialization of the ocean, and whether there could be entry points for sustainability considerations into mainstream financial mechanisms.

Coil With Ignitor Wiring Diagram Jean-Baptiste just completed his PhD in Sustainability Science at the Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University and the Global Economic Dynamics and Biosphere programme at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. He has a background in natural science with an undergraduate degree in Biology of Organisms, Populations and Ecosystems from University Paul-Sabatier (France) and an MSc in Ecology from Stockholm University (Sweden). He is a member of the Resilience Alliance Young Scholars and the Beijer Young Scholars.
